Here we see concept art for an enemy unit Firaxis is adding to the upcoming XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

this is an EXCELLENT edition to the ranks of the enemy. Well, conceptually, at least. We’ll see how well they implement them; what sort of skills and tactics this unit will have.

They should have a two-player head-to-head mode where one player can be the aliens and another the humans, placed in a scenario from a long list with various modifiers (I’m thinking Rome: Total War here) That would be so boss.
